My intention here is to enable discussion around the concept of keeping shit from appearing on Google (and other search engines).
I hope that maybe users can share tips and tricks they have used or roast other users ideas for the sake of greater knowledge.
The other day I was writing about a project I worked on in the past.
Where I was writing about the project is a web page that Google has indexed already.
Thing is that the project I was writing about contained details that I did not want business competition to stumble on...we'll go with that reason.
My solution was to instead take a photo of my whiteboard where I had written the information I wanted held back.
This allowed readers to still be able to gain the information I wanted to communicate - while avoiding keywords or scrapers from indexing the details.
Now, I know that Google uses OCR and with that in mind you can adjust what you draw on the whiteboard accordingly, but that extra step is expensive for any other crawler/indexer/spider to perform.
**WARNING**
I was high as a motherfucker when I had this idea. Would be cool to see an entire website be made of images to utilize the idea lol.
Could take an OCR model and reverse it - instead of reading images to output the character(s) written in the image in text - take the text and use it to generate images containing characters.
